usability trial
A location app for families. In a 60-person trial most people could complete the core tasks. Verizon later moved on to other priorities.
I worked on the design, including stakeholder interviews and the style guide. The trial informed later location-based work.
1week, coast to coast,
every driver a first-time user
Turn-by-turn navigation for a week-long cross-country rally, with every driver a first-time user. When route waypoints failed to trigger in testing, we added adjustable geofence sizes to the admin dashboard. Drivers who joined mid-route could start from the nearest point.
~30steps to book a rental
before the redesign
Booking a rental took about 30 steps across several internal teams, and background checks ran before availability was confirmed. We moved availability confirmation ahead of the background check and let renters pick properties themselves.
It didn't ship; the company changed direction.
